Cathy - Bag #1

Hey there! I've been working pretty hard on getting all of Cathy's bags done! I've already started on her others, but here is a look at the first one! :)

I love the bag band that I designed for this bag! Even if Bro didn't. I still got the job done! At times I wanted to throw Bro out the window, but I'm glad I didn't. We do beautiful work together! :)

These images are from my new camera!! Thanks to the hubby :) You can tell, because my close-up shots aren't blurry and distorted...

Here's a peak at the inside. A nice-sized interior pocket (it's actually 2 pockets).

Next 2 Bags!!

Just wanted to give a little peak at how my 2 next bags are coming along!



This bag is for my co-worker Helen's daughter:

Above: This bag will be a crossbody bag. Fairly small & very cute! You just wait! ;) So far with this bag, I've got everything pinned up & it's just about ready to sew! The actual design is still in process, because if I do the wrong thing... we'll be crossing into the "prom danger zone". And we do not want it looking promish at all! There's an extremely fine line between cute/dressy & prom. I have a tough job. :)

 This bag is the 1st bag for Cathy (I have 3 more to do for her!):

This will be a medium-sized shoulder bag! I LOVE this fabric. It has some really nice blues & turquoise in it! Gorgeous! :) So far I have the exterior sewn, the straps sewn, the interior pockets (there's 2) sewn & the magnetic snap in place.

These bags should be finished this weekend! Then I will have 3 more bags to do for Christmas! :)

Ashley (pt 2 - Complete)

So I just finished Ashley's little bag! I really hope she loves it! :)

Bag Details:

7" in length x 10.5" in width

Straps (2): 18.5" in length x 1" in width

Interior Pocket: 5" in length x 7.5" in width

Magnetic snap enclosure.

So happy I got another bag down! But, I'm far from finished! :)

Ashley (pt 1 - Cut/Pinned)

Hello again! Here's a quick look at how Ashley's shoulder bag is coming along!! I was definitely planning on starting the sewing process, but I am sad to inform that it is Monday Night Football. Enough said. :) So, I did not have the privilege of my sewing area tonight. Tomorrow though, is Tuesday. ha!

I attached all of the interfacing and I have everything pinned and ready to sew tomorrow! :)

Sandy (Shoulder Bag)

I must say... I'm on a roll today! I finished Sandy's bag in like 2 hours! This is a shoulder bag that is fairly small & simple. I love it!

Possibly a bit too small for me, because I like big bags.. but it's still very adorable! :)

Above: Here I have all of the pieces cut and ready to press and apply the interfacing!

All the interfacing is attached! I have both straps sewn, the exterior of the bag sewn, the pocket sewn & the pocket sewn to the interior fabric and the magnetic snaps in place! :)
